Activating your Multi-Factor Authentication Device

This topic describes how a user activates their MFA device.

Note: The process for activating an MFA device is the same for Administrators:
  • You will use the same steps to authenticate your MFA device, once you have activated the device for the first time.
  • If you are activating your Exostar token for the first time, you will be asked to enter two different one-time passwords generated by your MFA device.

  1. Log in to the Aviation ID.
  2. Click the My Account tab, and then Multi-Factor Authentication.
    The Multi-Factor Authentication page is displayed.
  3. Select a multi-factor authentication device.
  4. Click the blue arrow of the MFA device you want to activate.
  5. Enter the one-time password generated by the selected MFA device.
  6. Click Activate.
